Children develop ideas through the exploration of the environment and by interacting and communicating with adults and peers through play and other experiences (National Council for Curriculum Assessment; Aistear, 1999). These experiences include using drawing as a means of communication.
The preschoolers were describing ' It is a hectic day.' through drawing to their friends today. It amazed me to know what they can imagine and how they expressed it through their drawings! Plus.... telling out the story to their friends!
